Harmonic balancer bolt stuck because of corrosion.

Hi. I wanted to replace the harmonic balancer of my 07 Ford Crown Vic Police Interceptor, around 90k miles. It is heavily corroded, including the bolt. I can't get it loose, I tried with WD-40 too. What should I do? Heat it up with a flame? Thanks

Have you tried an impact gun?

No, I used a deep socket drive and I pushed hard the rod, I even tried to hammer the rod and the bolt didn't move.

An impact gun can frequently break loose stubborn bolts due to the rapid hammering action.

Breaker bar, extensions, and pipes. PB Blaster. I had the HARDEST time taking off the bolt to the harmonic balancer to my Accord. I didn’t have any power tools. So I used a breaker bar, extentions to the bolt, and a pipe on the breaker bar. Let some PB Blaster sit.

It was too heavy for me, so I used a jack to balance one end of the breaker bar while I used all my might to pull it. And it worked.

In retrospect, I shoulda tried heat too. And power tools would probably got the job done.
