2018 Honda Fit.  125,000 miles, 90% highway miles. $7800. 6-speed manual trans.  All service records. No accidents. Opinions?

I ended up buying the 2018 Fit for $7618. Trusted mechanic checked it out with no issues other than some paint chips on the hood due to the time spent on highways. Those can be dealt with...or not. I've had it for 3 weeks. So far so good. A LOT of fun to drive, esp with manual trans. Thanks for your opinions!

I have a 2007 Honda fit sport with 138,000 miles on it great car just keep up with the maintenance and oil changes if you have a GDI and just maintain on valves getting cleaned at certain intervals

Sounds like a great car for a reasonable price. Have a mechanic do a pre-purchase inspection on it though.

That's actually a pretty good deal. Honda Fits are solid little cars, and especially with a manual transmission. Still have a mechanic check it out before you buy it, but sounds like you found a reliable daily driver!

That’s a damn good deal. How’d you find it?

exactly where do you live that is an excellent deal and how did you find a clean title one as a California resident you literally can't find newer Hondas that are clean title. It makes sense when people don't want to sell good cars and people drive like maniacs so their cars get totalled. Good luck with your new purchase!

Right place at the right time, perhaps. The manual trans meant it had a limited market and I think the 124,500 miles put some folks off. Those were mostly highway miles, so it didn't really bother me. I've owned Hondas (Civic, Accord & CRV) since 1987...all manual trans...and I know how great those vehicles have been for me. And yeah, this Fit has a clean title. I'm debating on whether or not to have the hood repainted. The Fit hoods are rock magnets. Regardless, I'm looking forward to more years of Honda reliability.
