Looking to replace the Maxima that I killed.
I've been looking for Camrys and Accords 2010 or newer.
Should I consider the Subaru Legacy and/or Outback? I haven't driven a manual transmission in 10 years, but I'm fine with getting one as well.
Ended up buying a 2013 Mazda 6 standard transmission. Base model. Pretty good shape, with 140k miles.
It was posted on fb marketplace for $5800, I offered $5500, the seller countered with $5k. {black} I'm not complaining.
The spare tire is rusted out, so I'll need to replace that and I need to change 2 tires.
Considering the market, I think it was a pretty good deal for NY.
I hope you had it inspected by a professional mechanic, before purchase.. All the best!
I would be looking for a Ford Panther platform car. Lincoln Town Cars, Grand Marquis....very reliable sedans that you can get in that price range with low mileage.
If you go with a Honda or Toyota, the reliability will of course be there. But you'll be looking at higher mileage.
The 2010-2011 camry's are okay cars and have the updated 2.5 I4 that dont have problems. That is my least generation of camry though.
