The Buick '03 Lesabre I was having oil pressure problems with back in Feb this year is actin' up again. I replaced the oil pressure sensor earlier this year w/ OEM part. Now, the oil pressure is really low and erratic until the engine reachers 234F. What could the issue be this time?

Normally oil pressure is higher when the engine is cold and drops when it heats up. Have you verified what's happening with a mechanical gauge? (I guess you've checked the simple stuff like there's enough oil, viscosity is correct for the engine, and the oil filter is OK?)
I have a mechanical gauge. I plan to check the pressure Monday
after I replace the oil filter and top off the oil (though I'm early for an oil change). I'll keep you posted.
