I have a 2015 BMW F10 535i xdrive the car drives and runs perfect owned it for a year I haven’t had any problems always changing oil every 5k miles. Now that am hitting 60k am wondering what kind if maintenance I should do. I had an oil change at the dealership a month and a half ago and is not bad is only 100 bucks I usually do it my self but the price difference is not that big is only 30 dollars difference, and with the oil change bmw checks everything else and I asked them what kind of maintenance recommend to do and he said nothing for now the car is in a good shape am trying find a problem but there is no problem  with it but I don’t want something to happen down the road.

Do I need to change spark plugs and coils and how often should I do it from now on?

Do I change the water pump and thermostat? I have checked on forums and they say is no point of doing cooling flush because they are common to fail. Is it time to change it or not what’s your opinion on that?

And 3rd and last do I do a transmission flush. Bmw recommends the tranny fluid is lifetime but no fluid is lifetime plus lifetime for them is until warranty expires I want drive the car for longer than that for another 60 to 100 k miles. So it has a zf 8hp 8 speed automatic transmission. ZF has a kit with everything fluid filter pan bolts for around 200 bucks what’s your recommendation and how often should I do it from now that is hitting 60k?

And if you have other recommendations in your mind let me know that would be helpful.

Ok I am the money pit person

Lifetime fluid on a bmw is 100,000 km or 60,000 miles.

So when mine hit that mark I change everything.

Diff, tranny, coolant (look at new themostat), belts , power steering and brake fluid.

Awesome job on changing your oil every 5,000 miles .. I dont think doing every 10,000 mileage does the engine any good.

@klob
Thanks you for your reply and also what year is your is pre lci or after? What do you think of intake valve carbon cleaning walnut blasting should I do it? Have you done it what you recommend? They say the n55 they not that bad and they don’t recommend like the n54 that the intake valves get cover o. Carbon build up
