Hi, love your work,
i watched your videos about auto transmission oil changes - what interval would a manual be changed, is it the same? Thanks a lot.

hi, i was being non-specific...sorry about that.
2019 TOYOTA YARIS HATCH MANUAL TRANSMISSION, 29,000km, no codes, no problems.
For a manual transmission, replacing the gear oil every 60k is plenty.
Check your car user's manual.
Unless the owner’s manual makes no reference to it, or says “lifetime”.
Yaser and Rob are correct. The interval could be anywhere from 30-60,000 miles (? 45-90,000 km?), depending on what motor/ transmission you have (I’m not real familiar with Yarises, but maybe they offer different power trains in different markets. If that is so, then I wouldn’t go by what you hear on the internet... you’ll have to either check your owners manual, or, if you don’t have one, call the dealer).
I would change it every 30k miles/48k km or 36 months whichever comes first. 1.6 liters of fluid isn't that much, inexpensive and easy to do for peace of mind.
- All depends on your car. Cannot begin to give a general answer with out knowing the make and model.
