I have a 1999 Mazda Miata with 102000 miles and the code p0106 is on for the MAP sensor. I tested the sensor and it’s working, I tried the egr vacuum solenoid and that’s working and I inspected my hoses and all are fine any ideas?

According to a service manual I have - for a ‘04 Mazda Miata - Mazda calls for a so called After Repair Procedure to be followed after one works on P0106 issues. It’s a series of drive modes that have to be satisfied - four of them. These are accompanied by graphs representing engine speeds, vehicle speeds, time and distances, etc., that one has to follow. Some are taking engine through series of different revs in a sequence. Some include include driving with specified speeds, duration, etc. Plus, some monitoring with a scan tool is required during the process to verify numbers and setting them. This procedure verifies and resets all bunch of parameters, it says. Fwiw, …

Have you checked the integrity of the air intake boot between the MAF and throttle body?

NO cracks, tares and is secured tightly?
