Hello Scotty are mazda 3 2014 skyactiv engine 2.2 a reliable engine. I heard it has oil problems.

Which market are you in? For the 2014+ Mazda 3 the North American market never got the 2.2L Skyactiv-D I4 turbo which is a turbodiesel engine. We only got 2 engines the 2.0L and 2.5L SkyActive-G gas engines.

I remember Scotty saying in his older videos that they tend to burn oil as they age but then again that was a while back now he says that they are good engines.
