Mercedes-Benz 1979 280ce - aftermarket calipers rotors and pads

My Mercedes-Benz 1979 280c has brake calipers made by ATE, front and back. I can order parts online for calipers rotors and pads which are original to the car but rebuilt. I was looking for options where I can get some aftermarket parts installed on the car. I'm looking at willwood and other companies but they all say they don't have anything compatible to the car.

Please let me know if you have any experience or suggestions related to having all three items aftermarket on the car.

The pads and rotors would be new, only the calipers are rebuilt.  Since they only use a couple of new o-rings and dust boots, they should be OK.

True but the pads are tricky to find for ATE models. That's why seeking different avenues.

I would go with OEM all the way. If you found parts that are original to car, you can get them.

I have found OEM, problem is in the long run If I do not find things then I need to find a solution. That's why I am seeking different avenues. Like my cat has ATE and the break shoes were tricky to find.

This is a pretty specialized topic. You might inquire on a forum dedicated to vintage Mercedes. It looks like mbworld.org has classic sections, I'm sure there are others.

Rather than aftermarket I wonder if it's possible to retrofit more modern Mercedes brake components? It's something commonly done on old American iron.
