Hi Scotty,
I recently bought a Mazda Miata NB 2002 automatic @ 60,000 miles. The previous owner always used Mobil 1 10w-30 for engine oil changes and I intend to keep it that way. Although, he has never changed the Transmission oil. Being 21 years old with 60,000 miles can a Transmission oil change hurt the vehicle?

For a standard shift it would be no problem. For automatic transmission, probably not a problem if that is the actual mileage but see the FAQ for details.
