I have a 1999 Miata with 148k miles manual transmission. When I take off from first gear my car shakes but 2nd gear through 3rd pretty much no problems. Slight shaking at idle but nothing like taking off. Thoughts?

Original clutch? Or had it been replaced? How many launches do you pull when it's cold? Lol could be that the clutch/flywheel is glazed. Or maybe it's almost time to replace in general. If you ride on the clutch as well this can happen.
Original clutch as far as I can tell. Would that happen in reverse as well?
