- Dear Mr. Scotty, i have a 2012 mini cooper s with 100k miles on it, i have recently rebuild the engine as it was smoking, after putting it all together the car started up great, but after an hour the car suddenly shut off and the oil light came on, i found out it was a little low on oil so i topped it up, i then tried to start it and it ran very rough on 2 cylinders only for about 5 seconds then shut off, while starting it i was giving it gas, it seems like the gas pedal isnt working either. I tried new spark plugs and coils and same thing, also fuel and pressure is good. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME.

Well it actually died in the oil I came on could be it wasn't rebuild correctly I see that all the time. Praying something else like a bad fuel pump or a wire or sensor that can be checked with the scan tool
Mr scotty, the car worked at first, but then it cut off as soon the oil light came on, when the mechanic came he just deleted all the codes and nothing happened, please tell me what things i should test first, could it be that the computer is malfunctioning?
