Misfire

Good day,

I have been having an particular issue recently. Sometimes cylinder 4 starts to misfire and if I turn the engine off it won't turn back on, (only by push start). The issue is that the problem comes and goes unpredictably. I swapped cylinder 4 and 1 coils, spark plugs and the problem is always with cylinder 4. I would like to ask if anyone has a similar issue and could explain what could the root of this problem. Additional information is that the vacuum pump is leaking oil so perhaps a leak is causing it, but then why is it so sporadic? I haven't been able to find a corolation.

Info about the car: Audi a3 2009 8P. 237,000km 1.8TFSI, everything OEM (Made in Hungary)

Thank you in advance for any answers.

Hello,

I have already read the part about this at the FAQ section, and did a lot of research on potential causes. To me it seems that the most likely cause would the vacuum leak, however this still begs the question on why it is so random and why it goes away by itself and come back only after some time (weeks and months)?
