Hi Scotty, I have a ‘04 Ford Explorer, 4L XLT, 175k miles, I’ve always used conventional oil and was wondering if switching to full synthetic be okay? Thanks.

You can freely switch back and forth between conventional and synthetic.
I might warn you if you're a naughty person and have skimped on oil changes in the past, the synthetic oil is more potent than conventional, and your vehicle may start burning oil.
