Muffler delete... Good or bad?

So I recently did a muffler delete on my 1985 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. Its got a 305 V8 5.0 with a double barrel carburator. I did this because I wanted it to sound louder and better and doing this has met my expectations perfectly especially after going through 3 different performance mufflers and none of them sounding even half as good as it does without it, but will this effect more than just the way my car sounds? Any input is appreciated. 😁

Huh?  I can't hear what you are saying.

Check your state law. You most likely broke some laws. Regarding the car, it does not hurt and you may experience that your car runs a bit better, but is it worth it?

Bad, unless you're planning on taking the car to a dyno tuner so they can properly re-jet the carburetor to account for the lack of back pressure, you will probably burn the pistons by having too lean a mixture.
