My car blows cold air when I'm still but hot air when I'm driving

Scotty I drive a 2009 Ford Crown Victoria and I and I just replaced the AC compressor, when I'm stopped  It blows a temperature of about 55゚ but when I'm driving and accelerating it goes up to about 70 degrees.  What could be wrong and how can I fix it?  I was thinking maybe it could be a bad expansion valve or a bad orifice tube . Does my car have both or one or the other?

That car uses an orifice tube.

Did your old compressor seize up? If so the orifice tube should have been replaced along with the condenser and drier. (Most new compressors require those be replaced for the warranty to be honored, regardless.)

Check your battery and alternator. The HVAC system is computer controlled and too low a voltage can trigger random problems.

What are your system pressures with engine RPM increased to where it would be when driving? Does the compressor clutch stay engaged? With too little refrigerant the low side can go into suction, tripping the low pressure cutoff. With too much refrigerant the high side can soar and trip the high pressure cutoff.

Other than that there may be a problem with your blend door operation. That would need to be tested with a bidirectional scan tool.
