Hello Scotty my name is Brittany I have a 2013 Chevy equinox that I financed  from drive time in 2019  it had about 89,000 miles on it and now I’m at 116,000 my car started breaking down in January of 2021 and in February I put a brand new engine in it after about 2 weeks of driving it kept stalling and wouldn’t start finally we figured it was the wires for the car and that was fixed then 2 more weeks later we discovered it was my computer system not registering the new engine and so that was fixed it ran for about a month then my starter went out on it I got that fixed and it ran for about 2 months and after I got my oil change done my car stalled again and that problem was my solenoids well I got that fixed roughly 3 weeks ago and now my car is having problems again it does start but it says I’m having problems with the battery and charging system. I’ve gotten everything serviced at Chevy and I’m really ready to just junk it luckily I’ve had warranties that covered the engine and starter but everything else I’ve had to pay out of pocket. What should I do with this vehicle? I’m also still in a loan on the car would a trade in be better.

If it's still under warranty, I would trade it in or get rid of it any way I could.  For your next vehicle, be sure to do a lot of research here and on other sources before your next purchase.

well, i really don't trust going back to the same dealership especially after the warranty company denied fixing the engine again since it's back in the shop with head gaskets blown due to oil leakage.. I'm currently looking into Toyota and hoping to get something better soon also in the process of suing the warranty company and the dealership.

Get rid of that car before you spend more money. It is one of the worst cars GM made. Never buy another GM products. Instead, get a good Toyota or Honda.

Yes your right I'm never buying GM anymore I'm currently looking into Toyota the car is already back in the shop as I speak with head gasket issues

Those are terrible, terrible vehicles which unfortunately you found out by personal experience. Don't keep throwing good money after bad, get rid of that thing. Do some research on reliability and have a mechanic check out any replacement you're considering.

Thanks i believe I'm going to move forward with getting rid of it

I’m sorry you’re having so many problems.

Scottys video on cars he’s seen, last the test of time!

You may want to wait a couple more months before getting another vehicle. check out Scottys second video.
