Hi everyone i'm new around here i really like the channel i have been watching it none stop for the last month xD it's a lot of fun

i have a problem with my Ford Explorer 2010 my AC is kinda good but since last week i would be driving and everything is fine nothing wrong and suddenly the AC stops working there is still Air coming from the vents but it's not cold anymore just regular air and then a few moments back it would go back to normal

it happened around 7 to 10 times since last week i don't know what's the problem and i was kinda hoping someone could help me

also another question one of my friends is driving a GMC Yukon 2007 he loves the car it's good and did not breakdown much and he's thinking about upgrading it to either Yukon something between 2015-2020 or tahoe 2015-2020 which is the same car essentially

i know Scotty always says GM cars suck and they are junk does that include these 2 cars ? are the new ones as good as the old ones and is it a good idea to buy the new models ?

if no pls suggest a similarly sized car that is actually good and reliable  cause he has a big family and he carries a lot with him

thanks a lot for the help

Good idea to post as separate questions to get more (and better) answers.

Avoid the GM vehicles after 2007, including those you mentioned.  If it was a 2500 HD and higher heavy-duty truck, that would be the exception.  Their quality is not what it used to be and has been on a decline over the last 15+ years.

For recommendation for CUV/SUV, what are his constraints?  Also, does he want a body on frame or a unibody?  Is your friend interested in non GM vehicles?  Otherwise, look at a Toyota Sequoia or Highlander, and also a Mazda CX-9.

i see ,he does not mind anything as long as it big and it's reliable no one wants to fix their car every month
i was gonna suggest the CX-9 but not sure if it's a good car or not he drives quite a lot so will it last for the next 6 or 7 years ? you have to remember he will buy it used with probably 70 to 100 thousand miles on it
thx for the help i really appreciate it

Most likely you just need a system recharge.

I would start with that. If it starts getting hot again, you'll want to test the system for leaks. But start with just a charge first.

thx for replying i will try that and see if it fixes the problem
thx again for the help
