My moms 1995 Buick Park Avenue-door locks auto cycling once every 10 minutes even if car is not running

My mom has a 1995 Buick Park Avenue in great condition. The problem is that the auto door locks have begun automatically cycling on and off, even if the car is not running. If the car is standing still in the garage, not running, with nothing touched at all, the locks will cycle automatically about once every 10 minutes. As a result, we have to run the car every day or two to keep this cycling from draining the battery on the car to a level in which the car will not start. My mom is in her 80s, so the car is not driven every day (maybe 3 days a week). My local repair guy cant figure it out, or does not want to invest the time to figure it out. It has 83 thousand miles on it, and is in great shape  (driven to church, grocery and doctor).

Is there anything I can do here, I would be content to disable the whole auto lock system if we have to.

Generally when they do that it's a short in the master control unit on the driver side powering itself on and off.

For now I would take the fuse for the power locks out until the problem can be fixed, and just operate the locks manually.
