Hey Scotty big fan just started folding you this year. Moved to Memphis from oyster bay ny you are great! My question is my sister has a 05 Honda pilot with 200,000, it's bit bit up as she has 5 kids. She says she thinks she wants a van, any recommendations years , make? Ps she Lives in wilkes-Barre
Do not get any Odyssey if you are looking at Honda models. They have transmission issues. The newer ones are slightly better but not good for longevity due to Honda's reliability going back and forth.

For other minivans, avoid the Kia Sedona and Carnival because Hyundai products blow up. I would avoid the Toyota Sienna in terms of the early ones having oil sludge problems and newer ones from 2016-2020 have the 8-speed transmission which (at those models) were not the best transmission options. The new 2021 and 2022 ones have a new design and powertrain and the verdict on that is unknown.

If you need a minivan in a pinch- try the Chrysler Pacifica. I test drove that vehicle and the 3.6 Pentastar engine can last well some time and ZF 9 speed transmission has improved.
Thanks great information I didn't know about the Honda or Toyota, I would have thought they would have been the best. If not a van any Suggestions she has the pilot it's been great, but she feel it's time to switch. But I think a car similar to the pilot or newer pilot since she has 5 kids and needs 3 rows
