So my vehicle died at the lights yesterday and wouldnt start until hours later i got it started it ran rough and died then i tried to start it this morning same thing it started but ran rough and died and the gas pedal isnt working to rev it a bit what could it be?
Its a 2006 pontiac montana sv6 with 183000 km

Thanks everybody for your imput apparently my gas guage is off and i was out of fuel its running fine now

what could it be?
It could be many things. Did you check the simple things like filters, fuel pressure, spark plugs? Have you scanned for codes and data?

see if you can nurse the engine along with shots from a can of starting fluid.
