New brake pads and rotors, some slipping from the front

Hi I have a 2016 Ford Fusion with the 2.0 Turbo, Automatic, and 81,000 miles. I recently did a DIY brake job with new pads and rotors on all 4 wheels, first time doing it myself. Occasionally, when braking with moderate pressure or if braking on a downhill incline, I get a noise and vibration for a split second on the front right, almost as if the brake slips or releases and reengages at the end of the stop. It’s only been ~30 miles since I did the job? Is this normal for fresh brake pads and rotors or what should I do to fix this?

thank you

Did you put grease for to reduce the noise between pads and springs?

Secondly on the leading edge of the brake pad grind it so edge of the brake pad does not rub on the rotor first.

Hope this helps

The grease must he specfic brake grease not normal grease

@klob
Yes I did use brake grease where the metal to metal contact happens between the pad and the caliper and piston (Along the edges of the wings and the back of the pad itself). I didn’t grind the pad on any of the 4 wheels. I’d rather not take it apart again to do so, is that necessary to kill the noise or should it go away with some more driving?

A trick I learnt was this the leading edge of the brake pad is hit rotary and can cause noise.
So that edge I just rub it againist the road or work shop floor and give it a bit of an angle. This could be frown upon by people.

Good luck
