I originally had a 08’ Ford Expedition XLT that was my first car but a drunk driver rear ended me and my friend off of the road...so now my car is totaled. The car helped save our lives. I am in the market for a new car and am trying to decided between a pick up truck and an SUV. I want something that is most likely to save someone in a wreck, is safe, cheap repairs, and is reliable. I’m contemplating between a Chevy Suburban, F-150/250, Lexus GX 460/470 or another Ford Expedition. I was possibly considering a Toyota Highland or Land Cruiser (I need something with 7 seats minimum). Also, what kind of mileage would be okay if I got a used? I want something that will last 300k+ miles. Thoughts?

… get a Toyota Sequoia. Expensive new or good used, … it’s the most reliable tank! Get Lexus if you want to pay lot more!

Land cruiser and sequoia have the same power train but the sequoia is much cheaper. They both have 3rd row seats.
