Hi community,

I am shopping for a new VW Atlas Cross Sport R line Highline.

So many options of the unit I am looking are supposed to be included and are absent! No ventilated seats, no heated/power mirrors, and the list goes on! A reporter in Montreal wrote a column about this. The dealer says its because of supply-chain issues (of course) and the lack of electronic components in the industry. Where are the discounts? When on the VW builder on their site you can't even find the list of the included components for each trim!

My quote does not list those missing items and the price certainly does not seem to be adjusted accordingly! Buyer beware!

VW Atlas

One of the worst cars out there.

Where are the discounts?

I don't think VW can afford to give you a discount.

Buyer beware

https://carkiller.com/scottykilmer/qa/vw-atlas-parking-brake-engaging-by-itself/ (a car that tries to kill its owner)

https://carkiller.com/scottykilmer/qa/front-end-clunk-2018-vw-atlas-54000-miles/ (2nd bad steering rack in 54k)

and I remember seeing a lot more issues with them.

That's true of any North American VW (where they sell only Chinese spec cars) especially the Atlas - their worst car.

Buyer beware, you're about go get overpriced unreliable junk.

Where are the discounts?

Discounts? Voluntarily? Dealerships?
