Hey Scotty!! A few months ago I replaced my 2 front CV axles on my 2002 Camry 2.4L (driver side from Autozone, passenger side my mechanic got it for me) and recently the driver side one I bought from Autozone is starting to clack when coming to a stop, do you think it was incorrectly installed or was it just poorly made? I inspected the whole axle and it appears to still be in good condition and intact. I contacted AutoZone and they said they would cover the labor (replacement and alignment) with a labor claim, but I don't want to install another junky Autzone part, should I just live with it or replace it myself with another brand cv axle?
Well I never had one go bad often people do not get the inner CV joint push tight ends of the transmission has little circle above it has to be done just right or it will clack because it's not snapped in
Don't blame the part until you are absolutely sure it was installed correctly like Scotty said.
