Hey Scotty I am about to get a 2023 Tacoma automatic 4wd 4cyl. I ordered it about FIVE MONTHS AGO and it’s cutting pretty close to a trip I have planned from Massachusetts to Colorado. Is it a good idea to break in a new engine with a 4000 mile road trip?

There's nothing wrong with doing so, just don't rev the engine, don't use cruise control (drive at various speeds), and once done with the trip change the oil and oil filter.
