I have 2014 Nissan 370Z manual transmission and every time I rev the car or shift into gear I hear a rattle noise as if tiny pebbles are flying around but it’s a very light noise and I know it’s coming from my exhaust system.

The only other thing it could be besides a cat is a loose bolt or a blown exhaust gasket. Can be any of the gaskets along the entire exhaust.

It may be from your cat. Give it a few whacks & check if it rattles.
