Hey Scotty 👋

I have a 2007 Nissan frontier and it has a rough idle after a clean the throttle body,  took it t the mechanic and replaced the  throttle body and mfs sensor but still the problem didn't go away.  We tried to do the re-learn using a computer 🖥 and the computer says that is done but the problem still there and I'm about to go to the dealer but I know that it will cost me a fortune so I'm reaching out to you to see if you have experience anything like this. Thanks

The aftermarket scanners can be iffy when doing an idle learn but outside of that I would see if you have an intake leak somewhere because that’s the most common. Spray some carb cleaner around the throttle body and intake tube and listen for variations of idle. Possibly one of the rubber couplers in that intake split when you took it off to clean the throttle body I’ve seen that before

Thanks for the advice one more thing.  Do you think pcv valve has anything to do with this issue???

One mechanic told me to replace that to but I'm not sure if that has anything with the idle problem

It’s one of those things it doesn’t hurt to replace especially at that age but at the same time if this has only been a concern since cleaning the throttle body it shouldn’t have anything to do with the concern your having

Thanks. To check for the intake leak 🤔 do I need to have the truck on?

Yes the truck needs to be running and idling

Clean the idle air control valve with some carburetor cleaner that should help.

Replace the air filter and pressure test the fuel line. Lots of things could result in the idle vibration. Checking the live data can be a great help especially if you have no CEL.
