Hello, I have a 2012 Nissan Sentra base model with 160k miles. The problem I am having is that the ac only works whenever I press the gas. When I turn the ac on I hear a small click and that is all.
can you elaborate please on how it doesn't work?

If your only getting colder air under a load or rev conditions I would aim towards a low charge concern since by what your saying is the compressor is engaging. If it’s not it sounds like your compressor is bad

First check the refrigerant if they're all on refrigerant that's exactly what they do if it's not that often it's a bad compressor
