Hi, Would you guys recommend changing the CVT fluid of my nissan x-trail/rogue 2018 model. It has 170,000 kms and the fluid is still from the factory. I called the dealer, they said it does not need to be change as the fluid will last for the life of the vehicle. But i do not trust them. Should I have it change or should i follow their advice?

note: i am based in australia.
If you can source the OEM Nissan CVT fluid, go ahead and change it (and the transmission filter, if it has one).
In future, change it every 40,000 kms.
The exact fluid specification should be mentioned in your owner’s manual.
