[Solved] Noise from clutch bearing can cause damage to the clutch disk/plate?

Hello,

A common symptom I found on some manual transmission cars, between the 90's and 00's, is a worn out or faulty clutch bearing that produces a rattling noise when the clutch pedal isn't pressed down.

People say this doesn't cause any damage or increased wear, just the rattling noise.

Is this true?

a worn bearing introduces movement that shouldn't be there. Of course leaving it will cause damage.

Thank you @mmj =)
