I have a 2007 Nissan Murano SL AWD. I bought it with a salvage title. It has 251,000 miles. Runs great except one thing.
When I let off the gas or coast to around 15-20mph or when coming to a stop, the rpms drop way low, like to 200-300 rpms then jumps right back up to normal idle right away. But it kinda bucks the car a little. Like it's choked. When accelerating the rpms drop just slightly then go up normally.
Any ideas?
Clean the MAF, change the fuel filter and pressure test the fuel pump.
@Yaser gave great advice. I would just add that it being a salvage title, there are literally hundreds of things that could be causing the issue. If it persists, you will likely need to see a local mechanic and have him/her check it out hands on.
I would try to clean the idle air control valve with some carburetor cleaner.
Best bet first check the intake tube up to the throttle body those are prone to separation causing an intake leak as well as the pcv hose to the valve cover on the rear bank over time they crack and leak
