NOx sensor doesn't work - how to clean?

Hey, I got 2010 318i BMW (don't judge) and it's idling a bit rough, can feel a bit of shake when stationary. Got codes for NOx sensor failure, replacement is expensive, I would like to clean it first, what cleaners to look for, I assume it's clogged up with carbon. Thanks.

You can try removing the sensor from in front of the cat and spraying it with carb cleaner.  Be sure to check your connections and wiring.  If that doesn't work, you'll have to bite the bullet and get a new one - AutoZone - Dorman #904-421 - $251.99.  Us an antisieze compound sparingly on the threads.  Don't get any on the sensor.

ayayayaya not carb cleaner! It's gonna leave it all oily
use sensor cleaner

Sorry, Joe, MAF cleaner??

yeah MAF/intake/throttle cleaner.
Probably even brake cleaner if that's all you have.
