'90 Pontiac Bonneville Oil Pressure Gauge Innaccurate

Hello, I have a 1990 Pontiac Bonneville with over 321K miles on it. I have a minor issue where the oil pressure gauge will not read accurately. With a mechanical gauge it read 72psi on a cold start, which is good. But the gauge doesn't even go up to 60. However when the car warms up it likes to drop below 40 when im at about 600rpms (at a stoplight). Doesn't ALWAYS do this, sometimes It goes up to 60 just randomly whether im accelerating or not. Engine runs like a top and has full power, no ticking. Already replaced the oil pressure sending unit.

More information is needed but if I was to guess I would say oil pickup tube possibly. Although, if its running well with that many miles I wouldn't even mess with it.
