Have any 09 Accord EXL V6, with 200k. Valves had been rattling for some time and they have never been adjusted. Took valve covers off for the adjustment, and replace gaskets, and found the front head look brownish black and looked like it got too hot, the rear looked nice with a golden amber color. Since both heads did not have the same issue I would not think the valves never being adjusted would cause this. What are your thoughts, and what future concerns should I have.

Not, I wished I had now. The inside of the valves cover was black and it really did look like oil had been burned on the in side. On the valves it was a dark varnish color.
The valve cover for the rear looked great.
