Overheating

I just changed the radiator, the thermostat, and water pump on a Chevy sonic 2013 LT, now it over heats after 10 mins of driving it, then I’ll burp it out, then it overheats again, it has 134,000 miles

Do my video how to fix an overheating car Scotty. It's on YouTube and it has to be one of those things. Pray it's not the last one to blowing head gasket

I am praying that it’s not the head gasket

If it was fine before you changed the coolant, and you caught it in time, you should be OK. In order to bleed the system properly, the cooling system needs to be on an incline, so the engine is higher than the heater core. Normally the heater core is the highest part of the system.

You might want to look at your owner's manual and see how many gallons of coolant it needs, then buy that amount. Use 50/50 coolant, not pure antifreeze.

I bought an inspection camera for very little on Amazon. I think if it were me I'd be pulling the spark plugs out or at least one at a time and stick the fiber optic camera lens into the cylinder to see if there's any coolant droplets in there or signs of internal combustion leakage. Also if you change your own oil and you happen to collect the sample of it and there's a blown head gasket with enough coolant getting into the oil it should look like something from a baby's diaper. It should be that light brown yellowish muddy color that looks very disgusting. If it's normal black syrup then there's not that much coolant getting in. Also if you don't have any white smoke out of your tailpipe especially after only a few minutes of running the engine in even the coldest weather then there's no moisture getting into the exhaust and you probably don't have a head gasket leak. One more alternative to a bad head gasket is if you have electric fans you might check to see if they are running at all when you have the AC sealed system running. I had an issue back in November where a relay blew on mine and it was just $14 a piece for those relays and I replaced both of them. Never had an overheating problem since then.

I've moved it for you this time.
