Overheating/Bubling in Cooling horse

Topic starter

I started hearing a bubling or boiling sound for about 30 seconds after turning of my automatic Toyota Passo 2007 model. No temperature warning indicator shown. I took it to the garage and they replaced head gasket and had the head straightened. After getting back the car, I noticed that it sounded like stalling when Idle. I can smell gas in the coolant and the coolant seems oily despite changing. The oil check is on. I can still notice the bubling on boiling after turning off the engine. Please help me understand what might be wrong. The mileage is at 110,000.

Please help me understand

by the sounds of it, they took your money and screwed up your car (more)

I would get my money back and find a component mechanic.

You still have a leaking head gasket.  Whoever did the work (if anything was done at all) was incompetent.

It sounds like the "mechanic" did a terrible job if they did anything at all. If the head was warped it probably should have been replaced rather than attempting to plane it flat. It could have been cracked internally and who knows if they even bothered to check that.
