I have a 2006 Jeep Commander 4.7 that is giving a multiple cylinder misfire code. This Jeep has over 210K miles. I ran my scan tool and it said cylinders 1,3,5,7 were misfiring. Cylinders 2,4,6,8 were not. I cleared the codes and then waited and got the same code and readings. Where should I start?
When started the short term fuel trim bank 1 goes as high as 32% while the engine idles very rough.

engine is running too lean. Check for vacuum leaks and blown intake gaskets.

Check the spark plugs first. Then the fuel injectors and fuel pressure. You may also have damaged wiring.

Generally if the misfires are on the same bank and are all (1-3-5-7), I would suspect bad fuel injectors.
