Hi Scotty.

My check engine light lit today and when I got home, I plugged in the scan tool and I got a potpourri of error codes (nine of them):

  1. P0352 - generic, current:  Ignition coil B primary/secondary circuit
  2. P0300 - generic, pending:  Random/Multiple cylinder misfire detected
  3. P0301 - genetic, pending:  Cylinder 1 misfire detected
  4. P0302- genetic, pending:  Cylinder 2 misfire detected
  5. P0303 - genetic, pending:  Cylinder 3 misfire detected
  6. P0304 - genetic, pending:  Cylinder 4 misfire detected
  7. P0305 - genetic, pending:  Cylinder 5 misfire detected
  8. P0306- genetic, pending:  Cylinder 6 misfire detected
  9. P0352 - generic, pending:  Ignition coil B primary/secondary circuit

As an fyi, I recently replaced sensors 1 and 2 on bank one.

Anyway, from the above I'm surmising that I need to address the ignition coil on cylinder 2, so I'm going to swap with another coil and see if code P0352 changes.  Could it be causing those other pending codes on the other cylinders?  I'm also going to get the battery tested.

Back in April I replaced the spark plugs and the coil-on-plug boots.

Anything else I need to know or what to trouble-shoot?  I'm assuming (hoping) that addressing the P0352 error will correct the rest.

UPDATE

Thought I'd let all know how I went about diagnosing this issue.  Since I had changed the spark plugs just a few months ago, I couldn't assume they were the issue.  But I have no way of knowing if any of the ignition coils have been replaced (I'm assuming they haven't).

So I switched the ignition coil from 'B' with the one on 'D', and then I cleared the codes.  I went for a little drive, and lo and behold, I got the following error:

"P0354 Ignition coil D primary/secondary circuit"

I think I may have found the culprit!  So I ordered a new ignition coil to replace what looks like a fading coil.  We'll see how it goes!

Good job!
