I have a 2008 crown Vic p71 with 210,000 miles and it runs great but while going down the road the speedometer will drop to 0 and the transmission will start down shifting. The car is throwing both p062c and p0708. The transmission feels like it is shifting fine so I think that it believes it is going slower than it really is so it down shifts… I replaced the speed output sensor… should I replace the input? Or should I replace the range sensor next? PCM is fairly new and in good condition.

check the FAQ under "I am getting a trouble light on my dash."
I know what the codes mean (p0708 = transmission range sensor a circuit high) (p062c = internal control module vehicle speed performance)
