I have a 2016 Hyundai Sonata 2.4 GDI (non-turbo). Automatic transmission. 97k miles. My passenger front parking light isn't illuminating. It is a dual filament bulb. The brighter filament works (for the turn signal), but the dimmer filament (parking light) doesn't work. It's not the bulb itself as I tried it on the driver side and both filaments illuminate. I did the same thing with the removable socket the bulb fits into, and it works on the other side as well. It's not a huge issue, but it annoys me.
If it’s removable I would try swapping the socket portion to see if it follows that otherwise it’s a power or ground problem on that circuit I would start with checking that and make sure the connections aren’t corroded on that side
The socket is good. Tried switching it after switching the bulb, but the problem stayed on the passenger side. Guess a ground issue it is.
check the ground connection
