Greetings, Scotty Kilmer.
My name is Miguel, I'm 41 years old and I live in Portugal.
Saddly, I can't take my car to your shop to get it fixed and maintained, so I try to repair myself everything I can on my car.
But I have some questions I would like you to explain/answer me...
I own a Peugeot 206 2.0 HDi from the year 2000, manual transmission. It has over 300.000Kms so it is starting to get some needs. A few months ago I noticed the radiator fan starts spinning as soon as I turn my key (even before I start the engine) and I have replaced both relays (the ones near the fan), replaced the coolant temperature sensor, and even all the fuses in both fuse boxes (motor bay and driver's bay). It still continues to start spining as I turn my key to ACC mode... any ideas what it might be? I eliminated the AC compressor and AC radiator from the car. Also turned it off with Peugeot Planet software. Might it as something to do with that?
And also I would like to know what is the best way to clean carbon build up in my intake without removeing it. And what is your opinion on putting an Oil Catch Can since my intake is getting all oiled up?
Thank you for your attention
Keep the excellent work. Love your videos

Well that might be a software problem with the fans, but as long as it runs okay I wouldn't worry about that. But I would put an oil catch can on it. And if you want to try to clean the carbon use any of those carbon spray cleaners? They sell a good one United States by company chemtool but that's not available. I assume they have good spray cans and you spray them in the intake. Clean it that way
