Pilot not starting

Topic starter

Hi Scotty,

i have a 2007 Honda Pilot with about 153,000 miles.  Sometimes when I try to start it I turn the key and nothing happens.  No sounds or anything.  I turn the key again and it starts right up.

The battery is only 3 months old. Any ideas of what could cause this?

Thanks,

Maybe because the starter is starting to wear out. I haven't gotten into fixing ignitions yet but that's the best I'll give you for now. Just in case too, try out a new battery and if the car still doesn't start, then you'd probably need a starter at that point. I hope this helps you out.
