Hello Scotty, I am planning to change my brakes in my 2014 Nissan Altima by myself. I know you mentioned about the Akebono brake pads being a good choice, but how about for the rotors? Any specific brand for them? And I am planning to do it myself since a local shop quoted me 434 dollars for everything. Any other materials that I need to buy? Thank you for the help!

Any of the leading brands should be fine. Avoid no-name "white box" parts as well as cheap economy-grade parts.

Autoparts store brake rotors are a good choice if you want bang for a buck.
They work well and those brake pads will make sure for a quiet ride.
