2006 Infiniti G35
I was trying to jumpstart my car today and I did everything like how you are suppose to let it sit for a bit while the one car was running. When I got in my car to turn it on I noticed my key didn’t turn so I was unable to start my car. How can I fix this? I even just turned my key a month ago and it turned.

Several possibilities here:
1. Did you inadvertently mismatch the jump cables to the wrong terminals? (Red on black, for example, as opposed to red on red). If so, you may have created some electrical damage.
2. Too much current blew out a fuse which locked the steering wheel. Test the fuses with a probe.
3. The cylinder's gone bad, and needs replacement.
It's hard to know much until the fuses and the wiring is tested.
No I did red on red and the black on I put on a peace of metal. What fuses should I be looking at?
Do you have a spare key?
