Hello Scotty, huge fan of your channel though I recently discovered it. I have a 2014 MK6 VW Jetta SE with 1.8T TSI Engine (EA888 Gen 3) with 139K Miles. I am the original owner of the car and bought it brand new back in 2014. I do my oil changes at 4500 - 5000 miles and transmission fluid at 50K miles as the owners manual suggests. Since the car is getting old and I wont be able to afford a new car in the next 3 - 4 years, what types of preventive measures can I take to keep it somewhat trouble free next few years? Its been my daily driver for the last 7 years and I put around 1600 miles on it every month. Please suggest me. Any help will be highly appreciated 🙂

Spark plugs, drive belt, coolant, thermostat, inspect the brake fluid and change it if needed.

Differential oil, grease all fittings, air filter, PCV valve, etc plus what Yaser said.
