I’ve found aftermarket parts which are made in Thailand, to be pretty good quality.
Try and ask around your local auto stores if they sell any brand new steering racks, which are manufactured in Thailand.
Personally I'm always leery about remanufactured racks but if you can find one through that company dorman they do pretty good stuff

Get a reman from a local parts store that comes with a limited lifetime warranty.
It is more expensive but if I can't find a good brand that's what I'll have to do
If it's a good brand, it'll come with a limited lifetime warranty, no matter where it's made.
