Reliability of Honda's Turbo engines

I'm a toyota reliability fan but the new 2018-2020 Honda Accord body design has me wanting to be a customer over the naturally aspirated 2018-2020 camry's. What's the history of the reliability of Honda's Turbo engines? And what size motor would be advised to get? The 1.5T or the 2.0T?

2.0 ez those 1.5's are pure garbage and I hate that Honda even made them tbh. Let me clarify they're OK when their new but the 1.5 will not last because their GDI and Tubro'd. Awful design

All DGI engines are problematic and the turbos only make them worse,

carbon buildup on the valves, etc.

my advice get a non GDI Toyota vehicle with a 6 speed auto transmission.

if you must buy used in order to find it, take that route.

just don’t buy years that were susceptible to engine issues.....

I believe that 1.5 liter turbo engine had oil dilution problems. Naturally aspirated and normal port fuel injection is always best!

I have a 2020 2.0T Sport Accord. Love it. So far, just passed 3k miles and no oil dilution problems here. I did test drive the 1.5T as I was trying to save money, but we have 75mph speed limits in Texas. It felt like it didn't have enough punch to get up to speed with 90mph traffic from a stop.

I traded a 2019 Dodge Charger R/T Black Top for this car. I miss the power, sound, and space, but not the poor quality.
