Would anyone have any idea or tips of why my my remote start signal isn’t working? The unlock/lock work. I have a 2-way remote. I start option comes back red after attempting to start it. 93 camry. 160k miles. 2.2L engine.

Do you have a 2nd remote that works? If so, you would know it is likely the remote itself not working.
If not, I would first do the least expensive thing and change the battery in the remote.
It is possible the remote battery has enough juice to unlock the doors, but not enough to communicate with the remote start.
