Remove "Check TPMS System" Error - 2012 Honda Civic EX

Ironically, a day after I bought this car I got a warning light - "Check TPMS System". I've checked all my tires multiple times, they consistently hold >34 psi and they're new tires with around ~90% tread left.

This model Civic has no native TPMS calibration system that is accessible to the driver.. the only thing that I've found is to drive the car above 25mph for a short amount of time for the sensors to reset. But that was 500 miles ago, and the error still pops up every time I start the car.

Is there any way to get rid of or fix this annoying warning?

Note - some '12 model civics have either a button to the left of the steering wheel, or a feature in the dashboard UI to reset. The EX model does not.

Thanks!

the batteries in the sensors could be getting weak. A professional diagnostic scan might be able to reveal more clues.
